The problem is very common with Fiestas and sometimes happens with Focus, too. All of a sudden your dashboard lights up like a Christmas tree, you visit a dealer and they tell you the ABS is dead. Replacement cost is close to 30000 baht. In most cases DTC code is U3000, ABS lost communication with PCM. Thai Fiesta dedicated groups are full of threads on ABS topic, too. It happened with my car as well a couple of years ago and took a lot of time and few dead ABS modules to find the cause of the problem on hardware level, since then I repaired few dozens of these modules for myself and my Thai friends. Since most mechanics (dealers included) have no idea they can remove just the electronic part of the ABS and keep the car driveable while the module is being repaired I created this video tutorial to help folks that are struggling with the same problem.
