Took about 30 minutes to get my extension.

That's the same office where I did my TM30 and residence cert a few years back.

It would have been better if they had used the office on the basement floor where it is larger with more chairs.

How about application for residence cert service? Is that at the airport immig or Promenada immig?

Promenada says it's open Monday to Friday, does that mean the other office near the airport will continue to open at the weekends for reporting like they did before Promenada reopened this week?

Residence cert needs TM30 so are we supposed to be running to two places?

That day I met someone frustrated at the airport immig. while I was doing an update on my TM30.

She said she just wanted to apply for a driving licence, but to get one, she had to get a residence cert.

However, the prerequisite to get a residence cert is to get a TM30 registered first.

So residence cert is dependent on a TM30 registration first.

If you're a Yank, go to the US Consulate with a filled-out blank affidavit form, indicating your current address; I also included reason for affidavit, i.e., drivers' license renewal. Accepted no sweat for license renewal. Cost: $50. But obtained same day with speedy service.
