PHUKET: The Deputy Chief of the Kamala Tambon Administration Organisation (OrBorTor), Nopporn Karuna, claims that the black water in the Pak Bang Canal that runs through Kamala is clean after it has been passed through the wastewater-treatment plant that has now been installed across the canal.

The water that is being emptied onto Kamala Beach is clean, he says.

“Children can play in it,” Mr Nopporn assured.

Of course it's clean, it's licorice flavoured. Drink some yourself, Napporn!

Would that include his own children, or did he sell them as slaves already?

No auto dealers in Kamala.  No room for them with all the new condo developments that will remain unsold.

Lets see you lead by example.... go for a swim to prove to the public that "black water" is safe!

What a <deleted>hole.

He truly believes children can swim in it what a tool.

Treatment plant is obviously not working Sherlock.

Why don't Nopporn take a dip in that tar and then dry himself in feathers?

Never seen 'black algae'........

Never owned a pool?

Kamala is a dump. I feel bad for those stuck with overpriced properties in that area.

It's the local Muslim population. They couldn't give a <deleted> about cleanliness. Just look at any Muslim community on the island. Trash piled upon trash in their narrow sois.

Swimming pool? I presume you mean. You can get blackish microbial films on surfaces, which may contain a few algal cells, but mainly they are bacteria and fungii. I have never seen black WATER, unless there is gross pollution, and it isn't algae - unless it is very dead...

What a silly response.
