The British obviously cancelled the Champions League because this is the most embarassing campaign ever for British clubs.

Last season BOTH European competitions were won by English teams , not only that , both finals were contested by two English teams .

City were favourites for the Champions League and United were favourites for Europa Cup.

It's not cancelled, it's just postponed.
