I was really hoping this was a story about those returning home from abroad or returning from working in Bangkok and snitching on them for not self-quarantining.

But uncover often ends up in blaming people.

And if individual people are blamed, i.e. a person who knew he was sick but still spread the virus, then I have no problem with pointing that out.

But IMHO too many people blame "the Chinese" or other groups of people. And that is IMHO the kind of stupid blame game we should avoid because it does not help anybody.

Agreed. Perhaps the word  "uncover" would  best replaced  with "report"to avoid the risk of vigilante' style inquisitions ?

In fact that is the word used in a information sheet being distributed around our village this morning outlining expected activity related  to movement/travel and specifically asking  the  arrival of people from outside the province to be reported.

"Several Internet users started demanding accountability from the Army after they learned the boxing ring was run by the Royal Thai Army."

That they just learned this goes to show how well informed (not) the public here generally is. Sad.

What is the point of this stupid blame game?

You have lived in Thailand for how long? The blame game is the biggest thing going, and always has been. You can bet your <deleted> to a barn dance that virus is a farang virus not a chinese one, just saying.
