Covid-19: Do people understand social distancing? They don't seem to care in Suphanburi as prosecution looms

Hundreds of guests attended an ordination party in U-Thong district of Suphanburi in contravention of new Covid-19 prevention rules.

The host of the "Toh Jeen" party had organised 150 tables each catering to several people.

Videos and still photos showed the guests not practicing any social distancing on Friday - they were smiling happily in close proximity.

District chief Seksan Thanomkitti instructed his staff to file a police report with the local constabulary.

They want the event host - Sinuan Janthiwat - prosecuted for breaking rule #8 about public gatherings.

Daily News said the guests and organiser clearly didn't care about the rules.

And many are saying that Thais don't understand what social distancing means in these virus crisis times, notes Thaivisa.

Some crazy guy came knocking on my car window yesterday and wouldnt go away. Happened while at the petrol station after filling up. Figured perhaps there was a problem with the credit card or something but he just wanted to ask if b10 is fine to use in a new revo which we have. The guy was mental, just knocking and trying to open the door, putting hands all over the car trying to open all the doors. We wanted to just drive off but thought there was a real problem so opened the door. Perhaps we should torch the car and buy a new one????

Anyway, my family is going in to lockdown officially today for a month. Have a break from the crazies!

Anyone interested B10 is fine but not great high rev burn efficiency therefore fuel is being wasted but if you putt around and use better diesel occasionally no problem???? (ex machanic)

The law doesn't apply to them. That's the way they think. So I think it's going to hit Thailand really hard. Did anyone see last night on tv a contamination control area with everyone fully suited but the boss in no protection and a name tag. They just don't get it.

Friend sent me a photo of the underground in London on Monday. Idiots packed into trains ignoring the warnings posts all over the media about social distancing. Bloody selfish barstewards in every country.

They don't understand anything about rules, regulations or like being told what to do...

anyone who attended this party was at fault.

But this is the Thai culture for many.

Unless something effects them personally, they simply just don't care.

..You'll find that many people from all around the world are like that.

We could do with a new virus outbreak to kill off some of the xenophobia and racism rampant in some of these postings.

Makes one wonder why the perpetrators remain as guests in a land whose indigenous population they so obviously despise.

Shame on you.

I agree but that was the underground management who reduced the tube service during peak times. A lot of NHS use the underground to get to work.

The uk government have told TFL to add the amount of trains during rush hour.

its good you are ex

B20 is the best for every diesel engine its made off 20% palm oil and for that in colder weather needs more head when it have to start

its different from normal diesel and as so have different spec. thats why not all diesel can run it

but revo can and its is a better cleaner and more efficient fuel in terms off km\l and engine live

its ticker and contain more greace but thats only thicker when its cold and as so need heat to lighting up but greasy cold and warm

burn way more efficient =less polution thats important not for the clima change but for all off us every day and our children (ours or others)

So B10 better than regular and B20 the best and you can drive your car as you want regards the fuel ,but for safety better not
