A few days ago I would have said the first thing I will do is get an Haircut,

I dont think I can last that long I like to keep it short neat and tidy

So I've ordered online some hair clippers it will be the first time I've ever cut my own barnet,

Maybe I'll let the midget do it, No2 it is,

A bad haircut only last a couple of days,

Then my next thing would be a good swim

Am going yesterday morning to my neighbor the hairdresser who made me a "military" cut for 40 baht

I'll be looking a bit like that my wife has some relatives in the army and he recommended the one they use they are in certain regiment where they have to do it every 2 weeks

haircut and travel plans...maybe planning future escape routes should there be a whiff of future trouble brewing. Thai authorities basically hung expats out to dry during this crisis..both to the nation's and expats detriment. Never forget. While I am comfortable enough in a gated MooBaan, and fortunate to have time left on my permission to stay...perhaps an escape plan is necessary for next time now that we know there will be no help provided by immigration during crisis times

For many years I have not asked myself questions regarding the / my future in Thailand ... or not.
Each year I fill out the same documents to obtain my visa extension.
I wonder what it is for them to have in their files
the same address,
almost the same photos requested from us in various places around the house,
the same letter from pouya ban,
the same bank documents then that we live on my pension which arrives monthly from France.
Last year with the very unfavorable exchange rate of the euro and many months below the minimum bar of 40,000 baht monthly, I thought my extension would be refused;
well no ... it goes as they say, like a letter to the Post.
In 14 years , I never had 400,000 baht on my Thai bank account ...
it's more like 5 to 12,000 baht at the end of the month ...
in fact much more than the majority of Thai people.

We never know I wouldn't want to leave Thailand if I had to then I now have 2 options in place and one is live with my ex MIL

Haircut not necessary as my barber shop was open last Saturday here in Pattaya. I wonder why as the other ones were closed. 

A good meal and meeting friends at a bar.

I don't think it will be the first thing I will do, but when everything is back to normal, I will join my friends in Pattaya and we will eat a delicious lasagna ..
I would be unable to tell you where this restaurant is in Pattaya;
the only thing i know is that you eat very well for very cheap.

Assuming this gets controlled/stymied, book our 6 month trip to the states....

I've been cataloging and noting places as well as the possibilities of upgrading our camper, or possibly get a small piece of land to keep for a seasonal RV retreat/home base (might be more hands on/maintenance/security trouble than worth).....

We have no trouble out RVing months at a time - this year will be more station to station over 3-4 days touch and go....

A month on the Oregon coast seems like a good start to me....

 

But, I'll probably just start with a hair cut.....

 

Also.....

Used to have the car washed once a week while I'd take a 2 hour massage while waiting = my car really misses those car washes....

I am 3 hours from the nearest McD, KFC, DQ and 6 hours or more for an Indian Restaurant, normally go once a month or less, so this is going to be a treat ????.
