When and if supplies of booze are stopped all shops will eventually have none left to sell. Including the Mom and Pop shops.

Other than that yes, people indeed do more cleaning and sorting through sh...tuff whilst basically locked into their abodes, e.g. in Austria most requests to reopen where DIY, gardening stuff, tool shops as well as the recycling-centers ... they're about to open up again as we speak ...

But since the ban kicked off on April 10 all the Thai models they had initially invited for screen tests had in the meantime developed uncontrollable body shakes, sweats and stomach problems. Several others had forgotten what day and time it was, missing their appointments. And yet a couple more had developed paranoia, not daring to step into a room heated up by photography spotlights, fearing they'd burn to a crisp. So they hired a foreign bar stool warrior from Pattaya as a last resort, who - luckily - still was able to remember the address of the studio where he was supposed to turn up.

The difference is that some you can use on colored clothes without it removing the color and I think one is lemon scented

Here, here!  I so much agree with your very astute and worthwhile comments.  Besides the humourous comments yours is the only sober one.  To add to it, alcoholism, cancer from tobacco products, death from vaping, opiate addictions and overdose, obesity and ancillary issues associated with and abortion are just other forms of much needed eugenics.  If we didn’t have inferiors in societies offing themselves and unwanted crack-addicted fetuses, then much like life without pollinating but annoying flies, worldwide, mankind would perish.

Define Alcoholic,i drink everyday,slowly,don't get drunk,don't or very rarely touch spirits ,stopped for 3 days a week or so ago,bit of a headache on day 2 otherwise no other effects,so the question is am i an Alcoholic?

I'd like to suggest that all the smug teetotalers on the Pattaya forum should show their compassion for those less fortunate and they should each adopt half a dozen Thai alcoholics and nurse them through the withdrawal period at their own homes since they're clearly such world-class experts on the subject of drinking.

Seems like it would have been better to find a way to just get people to not sit and drink together or party in large groups.

 

Death rate from alcohol withdrawal depending on which studies you look at ranges from 1-20%. So, if are talking about 1 million Thai alcoholics forced into withdrawal, that would put 10,000 to 200,000 of them at risk of death if the ban is effective and lasts more than a couple of days.

Didn't realise there were any Thai alcoholics (as no Thai would do this), therefore it is appropriate to show the wicked ways of farangs. 

 

Good wake-up call for any alcoholic that was stupid enough to not stock up and unlucky enough to not find a new supply.
