Could some rain finally be coming?

First reasonably cool day we've had in a long time.  I was able to do some work in the garden when normally it's too hot.  Looking at windguru, it looks like we'll finally get a bit of rain the next few days.

 

Time for some good news around here, and cooler weather certainly is that to me.

Thursday night.

This system seems to have a bit of rain in it.  It dumped 23.8 mm on Phuket City before 1900 hrs.

Not so much down the road in Chalong so far. Here's hoping.

Looks like the weather on the turn tonight. Shifting from east to south quite quickly. Soon be full from the west.

Would be really early, more likely to be changing directions a few times the next 2 weeks or so before it settles from the West.

Weather pattern tracking in steady from SW last 24 hours. Be ready for monsoon WSW any day now. IMHO.

Some good heavy rain this morning in Chalong. Hope it is the end of the drought. The well has been going dry for several weeks.

Bad news - blocked gutters (thanks to the neighbors) have caused flooding in our storeroom!

Good news - Ventusky is predicting the winds may finally be switching to west, south west by Monday.
