Recommend an electric lawn trimmer (strimmer)

I have had a Black and Decker for a few years, but it's extremely noisy and it's really a pain to rewind the spool with new line. Only interested in electric and at a reasonable price, ie less than 2000 baht.

I realize the OP has had zero replies. I have bought in Thailand corded electric lawn strimmer | trimmer from Black & Decker, Talon, Bosch and Makita. I sold them all. I was not happy with the performance and never thrilled with strong replacement on those corded electric models in Thailand. However I am very happy with the 36 volt Makita DUR365U grass trimmer.  Today I watched the set up and demonstration of the new Milwaukee 18 volt grass trimmer. It offered an optional extended chain saw kit to trim tree branches. I would recommend anyone looking for a quiet, yet powerful battery grass trimmer to compare the Makita, Milwaukee and Greenworks. When you consider the price of the charger and battery (if you had no lithium batteries in Thailand already) there is a clear winner of price and performance. The self feeding cutting line feature of the Milwaukee is very compelling.

I brought the Milwaukee in wifes container from USA when we retired here, it came with the M-9.0 amp hr battery. I got it in a set, hedge trimmer and weed eater, really didn't want the weed eater/grass trimmer but after over 2 years, it is a beast, now the self feed doesn't work that well and if you try and put too much line on it. It is not fun to reassemble the head but as long as you keep the new spooling down to about 6 meters, it is OK. The newer model has a split shaft and can also use different attachments. Very sturdy tools, the entire line of Milwaukee M-18 an M-12. Makita is good kit but I abuse the Milwaukee and its still going strong. The 4 amp hr battery lasts about 15 minutes, the 9 amp hr battery wears me out..good for 45 minutes to an hours run, Sorry just saw this post while looking for info on bathroom doors, want PVC if made...
