Why is my elevator safe but my pool is not?

I need someone to explain the lack of logical thinking, or the lack of any thinking.

Your pool is not safe because people gather round it and drink booze.

Your elevator is safe because cleaning staff disinfect it once a day.

Sorry, I'm just passing on official thinking, if that's not an oxymoron.

At any given time, there are more morons in the elevator than at the pool.

Simply accept that the pools are closed. It will not change anything if you don't.

I am willing to walk 5 flights.

Imagine high rise buildings. They can't close the elevators. Especially old and also handicapped people would be trapped in their rooms.

Since the world followed the Chinese Commie Model, we should weld them inside.

No elevator needed.

you can't police peeing and spitting in pools, but if someone spit or <deleted> or leave any bodily fluids let alone fart in an elevator, you should be able to tell

The stairs are only for going down not for coming up.

One sneeze in the elevator will seal your fate.

Send your beer to the 45th floor and meet it by taking the stairs.

Problem solved.

The answer? Just ask yourself "What country am I in?" !

I would, but the folks getting on in the 10 levels of parking garage stops would ensure it was also empty, so I like my idea better, At least by the 25th floor I will feel no pain....

I'm fairly sure I know "WHICH" country I am in.  No matter how many times I said the word Chlorine to our dumbass manager, she kept repeating how the water was unsafe.

The logic is elevator is a Necessity pool is a luxury. My condo is saying max 4 riders and let people

ride alone if they want.  Next they will require able bodied adults to walk upstairs up to 4th floor and below.

A world gone mad.

My condo has no mechanism for riding alone.  The idiots pile on when allowed and many not wearing a mask.  I growl at anyone who tries to come aboard and this maintains solo ridership on my part.

The elevator is a necessary equipment to transport passengers in the building.

The pool is for recreation and socialising.

I'm sure person's responsible in the building are doing what they can to put in some rules to maintain safety for most everybody and not just a selfish few.

The pool is for good health and exercise.  The elevator is a death trap.  It should be closed countrywide.

I'm not turning my back on anyone in Thailand

Walk the stairs ... the 'step workout' will do you good ????  (and no need to pay a gym fee)

The gym is closed.  The pool is closed.  The game room is closed.  The stairwells are also closed except to exit your floor and then the only exit is out the ground floor door.

The elevator is open.  It's a death trap.

Good health, one could take a walk, do yoga or some form of calisthenics. The pool being closed is not the end of the world, it will open one day in the near future.

Elevators being deathtraps, disagree. Just use it when there are no other passengers, wear a face mask and sanitise or wash hands after pressing buttons.

If someone sneezes in the elevator and you are the next one on, it is quite dangerous.

Yes I agree it can be dangerous, especially if they Shatt themselves when the backpressure of the sneeze hit....yep dangerous for all.
