DOH said that local organisations should also come up with measures to control the number of visitors to beaches in their respective provinces to prevent overcrowding. Tourists and workers in the service industry should also be required to wear masks while on the beaches, Dr Panpimol said.

Enough hand sanitisers should also be provided for beach-goers while toilets and bathrooms on beachfronts should be cleaned every two hours, she said, adding that visitors must check in and out at beaches so they can be traced, among other measures.

Has Director-General Panpimol Wipulakorn been to Phuket? Does she know that you can walk onto most beaches in several spots? Can she honestly think that hand-sanitizers and check-in/check-out facilities would be feasible? And does she realise that Phuket's beaches don't actually have toilet and bathroom facilities? And sunbathing in masks? Sure!

I know he's talking generally but the article is about Phuket.

I thought they would've kept the ban forever as they've been so keen so far in banning everything. The funny thing the officials are proud of their achievement of destroying so many lives!

You are right. Their madness has no limits. I shake my head in disbelief everytime I hear from them. A lot of stupid talk coming from them. Wearing masks on the beach? Clean toilets? Where? These officials talk a lot of nonsense just pretending they are doing their job.

"DOH said that local organisations should also come up with measures to control the number of visitors to beaches in their respective provinces to prevent overcrowding. "

And how do they think this can happen. Just nonsense.

Exactly, wonder if they're doing the same for massage places, Central or any markets...pretty sure that's a big "No".
