Unemployed teacher caught with child pornography

A 33-year-old unemployed music and dance teacher has been arrested on charges of possessing child pornographic material in Chiang Mai province.

 

He was arrested after Chiang Mai police joined forces with Thailand Internet Crimes Against Children (TICAC) task force on Friday (June 19) raided a house in Saraphee district after being tipped off about internet activities involving downloads of pornographic materials of children as young as 10 years old.

 

 

 

Officials arrested the owner, Chai (last name withheld), after they allegedly found several pornographic images of male and female children in two laptop computers, two mobile telephones and several USB flash drives and SD cards. Chai reportedly admitted that he had downloaded all the materials after joining a group on Line application that must pay for membership before downloading the files.

 

Investigation also revealed that the suspect used to be a music and dance teacher at a private school in Chiang Mai but was now out of a job after his contract with the school ended.

 

Chai was charged with possessing child pornographic material, which carries a maximum punishment of five years jail time, or Bt100,000 fine, or both.

 

 

Police will also investigate the Line group for possible involvement in human trafficking.

 

The ICAC task force has launched its “Save Children Operation” during Covid-19 situation when computer-related crimes have spiked. In 56 days of operations in 24 provinces, they have made 47 arrests and helped 100 victims, as well as seized more than 150,000 images of child porn.

The family members even raping their own kids with and without other extended family members joining in, they even selling them to someone else for sex and even joining in, says a lot to me about this place.

No way, they take this kind of crime very seriously here and this scum will see many years behind bars before he'll be able to touch a computer again...

This is a World Wide problem on a massive scale and it goes right to the top, recently I've watched a few podcast and the names that come up, most recently J Epstein and that dirty <deleted> J Saville and even worse when the victims of child abuse are being ignored.

Why are the hiding this perverts identity? let the whole world know at least the people in CM

Yes, of course they should but then you would get all the odd supporters of these types who will ask why he was identified when not convicted.

They should fully identify him with photos also, there may well be child victims of his who would come forward.

Nothing about him being farang. You bet they'd jump all over that it that were the case.

 

Still no further developments in five teachers involved in the Mukdahan rape gang about a month ago now. They all made bail, and that was it. But the social media posts regarding the incident, from their fellow Thai citizens, were quite eye opening. Things like, "They're men, they have their needs" and "Worried about what might happen to your daughters? Don't send them to school then". The article's in that big famous newspaper that can't be linked to here.

 

Sadly, this crackdown we want to see just isn't happening. Apparently, not if they're Thai.

Does he Look Swedish to you perhaps then, as he's got "blonde" hair ? Most likely Thai otherwise Foreigner, nationality and normally a pic of passport info page would be probably be displayed.

I really believe this is an incurable sickness and the death penalty or a lobotomy may be the only way to remedy the situation and safety of the children. Honestly I just don't get it and the mentality.

After much inspection, I came to the conclusion it must be the white guy with blonde hair since all the others are Thai cops.

He is not one of the rapists, my original comments #6 was elaborating on the culture here.

He has to be proven guilty in a court of law. Reveal anything now and expect a libel case.
