Sony TV turns off with USB installed.

Quite happy with my new Sony 4K 55 inch Smart TV, but find that if I leave a USB stick or a WD Passport connected to the USB port it will turn itself off overnight and it has to be unplugged to start again, which is a bit annoying, it means I have to remember to remove the USB after watching movies or restart the TV in the morning. Not sure if anything can be done to correct this?

Not sure what you mean.

Windows 10has in built meter,will turn off internet connection after some time,have to re-start to get it again

Some TVs have a Sleep or Eco mode to save power, or prevent shortened lifespan or screen burn-in ... but it's very odd that this only happens when you have an active USB device plugged into it.
