Congrats to TV forum members. Together it has been determined that it was an illegal purchase by a drug abusing idiot and now the bad guy has come on here and confirmed everything.

Dear bad guy, you assaulted the man within 5 seconds and I hope your negotiations with the bib go south and you get to go to the Bangkok Hilton.

Disgraceful behaviour, whatever his complaint was. He deserves a smack on the chops himself.

There was some further information in Mgronline.com from 01/07/20.
Police Colonel Suppharoek Phankoson, Chief of Police at the Surat Thani Immigration Bureau, disclosed to reporters that at approximately 1.00pm on the 28th June the foreigner had entered Nopaporn Pharmacy on Soi Green Peach, Hat Rin in Koh Phangan. He claimed that the medicine he had purchased several days earlier from there hadn't worked and then assaulted the 44 year-old pharmacist and demanded his money back, as seen in the video.
The police have identified him as Mr Benjanin Stuart Reed, an American citizen, who entered Thailand on 14/03/20 on a 30 day visa expiring on 12/04/20.
Mgronline.com also revealed that the American had been involved in a previous similar incident on Koh Samui at a motorcycle hire shop, before travelling on to Ko Phangan and assaulting the pharmacist.
Police are currently searching for him and believe he is currently hiding out in Krabi or Phuket province.

Something is smelling bad with this case. Incident happened, its on tape. So there is no disputing the assault.

The pharmacist can't remember what drug was sold to foreigner but remembers the amount of the drug right down to the baht. Humm.

Then the pharmatist does not follow up with a police report at the station. Humm.

Then the pharmatist is gone, no where to be found, under the cover that it is his day off. Humm.

It really is a fish stink to this case. Perhaps they will bring in some Burmise fellows to take the heat for the pharmacist to protect him from any wrong doing? Yes, a really ranchy stink to this case.

Maybe he was angry because when he opened the baggie it was just stems and seeds.

The pharmacist is offering a service but it is up to the customer to look at and read all information being purchased before leaving the pharmacy, the drug type, the born date, the expiration date, etc. I do this every time and still go online to research the drug recommended. In any event the pharmacist didn't deserve to be assaulted like that and this thug, yes he is a thug, needs to be found and given punishment deserving of the crime.

I agree with the last sentence of the post 100, KENNETH,
There was a more civilized way to express anger.
Especially since the little Thai was no match.
Now, if RAMBO could go around Europe to clean up all these countries besieged and gangrened by all profiteers, assisted invaders, it would be perfect.

I wonder how tiny you are if you compare a guy like that with a bodybuilder or steroid user. The guy has almost no muscle definition.

To give you an idea, Polly Pocket is my sister.....knee high to a grasshopper

1) the guy deserves to be severely punished.

Or:

2) the shop owner deserves it

3) all the above

You could call me a meathead but I speak five languages.

OK, how about a psychotic narcissistic bully possibly suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder with no self-control that can speak five languages - does that fit your ego?

You'll soon find out you can't go around hitting people.  Sounds like you're a time bomb waiting to go off on someone.  We don't need people like you here.  Fingers crossed they deport and blacklist you.

If it were a thai doing this to a foreigner nobody would bat an eye though, would they?

hell they can kick old Foreign ladies in the head here (and have it captured on video) and they couldnt care less.

Steady on, Fezz ol' chap.....The bars are open now, ya know....????

From his visa details posted earlier, looks like he's also on overstay.

Idiots who hit someone because they are not happy with `whatever` should be deported and blacklisted. Period.

Honestly I can't see what all the fuss is about it was only a little love tap <deleted> and it looks like the little <deleted> deserved it......end of story????????

I would say that sounds like a perfect description of this guy, I don't care if he is some sort of war hero, this is not how you behave in Thailand or in any country.

At least he got his money back, most on this forum would just bend over and take it.

At what cost is he getting his money back?

If you want us to identify him, why blur out his face?

That's not why the article was posted here!

True. But the story makes no sense at all. Was it a robbery? And why didn't the pharmacist go to the cop shop for a report?

Unless he has his own boat, it shouldn’t take long

There is no warrant for his arrest, no charges have been filed and the police only want to talk to him. The lady who posted this obviously has some sort of complex seeking justice or attention because now the pharmacist is awol.

maybe selling a limited amount of prescription medicine over the counter is the reason for not pressing charges......

Exactly my thoughts.

A lot of newbees in this thread, maybe always the same guy?

Maybe some of you have also noticed that the man the story is about( he is using different names) has deleted a post.

It was about taking everyone he could to court who has done him wrong ,i guess too much work for him to

go around Thailand and beat them all up.
