I am looking for an Online Vendor for ORIGINAL/GENUINE parts for my UMK435 brush Cutter based in Thailand.

Please Dont reply with Lazada as there is some original parts there but they are very hard to find an very overpriced.

My local hardware stores dont carry many parts and are too lazy to order specifically what i want.

i am also looking for a parts list with exploded diagrams, Any link to the relevant Thai Honda models would be greatly appreciated

Honda Power Equipment UMK431 UNBA - HZAD 1000001-1999999 GEAR CASE ...

Thanks in Advance.

Maybe not help for you?... You might give the local salvage yard a try.  In Udon Thani, there are at least two yards mostly for auto/truck parts but also saw a collection of washing machines and miscellaneous gas powered gear.  I found a part for my 20 year old CRV that isn't supported by Honda anymore.

thats an option, but the last on the list. I found this https://www.hondappsv.com/contents/contact/THA/en/424/9/

which has the owners manual, i assume the dealer login area goes to the parts section as they are trying to protect the franchisees from every tom dick and harry from being able to buy parts easily online and intead have to travel 45Km to the nearest dealer (in my case) who will say dont have, cannot get.

great work. thanks so much.

I went to to my not so local Original dealer and he proceed to sell me copies.

the part i wanted wasn't really required to be original as it was just a cutting blade drive plate washer.

I did manage to get the to show me a catalogue with the part Numbers and diagrams in which was helpfull but they didn't give me one so i could just order via phone etc.

Anyhow that is the way that they want to conduct Business and i dont really want to have to drive 45Km to look at a catalogue, then drive back when the order is delivered

Shaemus:  I've been inside the plant in Thailand that manufactures the Honda brush cutters. I've met several managers of Honda Power Products in person. Honda Power Products does in fact have a wonderful woman who will assist any end user with parts diagrams and what a suggested retail price might be for the genuine Honda part. However, Honda Power Products will only sell parts to authorized Honda dealers. Buriram has three authorized dealers, most mid size to large communities have one or more dealers. I 100% understand the resistance at some shops to stock genuine Honda parts. Local folks or folks on a limited budget do not necessarily understand the value proposition of a genuine part. I insist on genuine parts in my Honda water pump | Honda brush cutter | Honda Inverter generator and I sure see the quality of Honda parts in a Honda HRJ216K3 self propelled lawn mower. But some folks just want cheap. In my opinion that is false economy. Ruangsangthai Hardware in Buriram sends dozens of boxes 6 days a week on Kerry Express or Flash Express or via EMS to customers all over Thailand. It sure helps if people understand quite often you can not buy just one single part, but a set of parts, is what is really stocked by Honda Power Products. The prices I have seen for seemingly real parts on Lazada is at a high margin. Extreme high margin. There must be authorized Honda power products dealers all over Thailand who understand that expats, by and large, if given the choice, would pay a little more for a genuine part. Honda ships to a dealer within 3 days in my experience. Genuine Mitsubishi or Kohler engine parts for a lawn mower is a whole "different experience". Honda is the gold standard of fair prices and excellent parts service for dealers in my six years experience. I am sorry to say, it is far too easy for Thai staff to say "no have" or "can not get', when it means work to get a genuine part. They would rather turn stock of the off brand, high margin, part they have in stock. I know that some stores invest money to keep stock of genuine Honda brush cutter and lawn mower parts. See the photo of genuine Honda power products parts in Buriram.

Wasn't that a factor in the decision you made to live where you are? Just asking.

As to where the Honda parts shop is! No.

As much as i miss the metropolitan life style in the west, it's countered by very little crime where i am, peace and quiet. the lack of shops is changing as it the availability of online items is getting much better.

Thanks for you input
