Popular Post ChakaKhan
Leave a google review..open map of the location and select the place...I do it all the time when I get double priced, they can read it ,as can others, they can respond but cant remove it....the internet is forever..... If they should respond or an error I will happily remove it, but it serves as a fair warning to others... Fool me once.....shame on you....fool me twice...never happens....I learn from it and move on....an example, I left a good review for my thai buddy at his shop, has had 1000 views.. Popular Post jak2002003
OP how long have you lived in Thailand, tet you are unable to ask a simple question about checking the bill in Thai? You rely on your wife to sort out simple problems like this for you? Seem less independent that the kids you took to the pool. 2
Popular Post robblok
I am amazed that anyone is with a partner they suspect of helping in defrauding them. Even if its a small amount something like that would be a total destruction of trust. Not sure why anyone would stay together after that. (This was was what happened with my first Thai wife) After finding out it was done for good. You can't get back from something like that. Later with beter selection of woman never had such a problem again.

First: No it´s not typical Thai style. The genuine Thai person is very kind and giving. This is something they picked up and learned since foreigners, especially westerners, started to invade the country in too large numbers. Second: What a childish comment. Grubby little hands. Really? Was that the best you could do? Last: Nope, Thais are definitely not afraid of confrontation. They are just not used to do the confrontation verbally, and do not own the same skills as many other nationalities in that area. They do their confrontation with hands, knifes, guns and other weapons they have at hand. Something that I am sure you would have been getting first hand experience of, if you had been having the guts to voice your comment to a Thai person. The Thai bargirl was never the full shilling and at one point tried to tell people i fancied her she eventually got dumped by her Farang boyfriend and got sacked from the bar but she was still there for a year or so, but being happy go lucky i do wave to them as i go past. for me the worst Farang tax is when you get taxed by another farang, have seen lots of them at it. Sounds like she already had added the barfine to the bill, as she knew what you were up to in that bar. Only when your wife arrived later they realized you might have just been there for just a beer.

If it's not priced, I'm unlikely to buy it. 80bht is about my limit for a large beer, unless women's breasts are somehow involved in the transaction. Leaving the bill to your Thai wife ............ I remember well being shown around new houses by my new Thai wife, and a sales lady, only 2.5Mbht. Walked into the sales office and picked up the printed house price list, 1.8Mbht ...... that made me go ....Hmmmmm. Bangkok Barry
I never have this problem because I never handle money. When I'm with my wife, she has the money and she pays the bills. The only time I handle money is when I might have a day or two in Bangkok while in transit from Isaan to somewhere else. Because of Covid, I haven't actually handled money since 2nd March.

Thingamabob
For heaven's sake ! How much do you reckon you were out of pocket ? No more than a few baht. If that's too much for you you then Thailand is not where you should be living. Find somehere else to whinge about. 1
