A Glock 15 and upwards, very common in Thailand cost approx 15,000 baht

For example, a Glock 19 9 mm has a standard magazine capacity of 15 (plus one in the chamber).  Optional: 17 / 19 / 24 / 31 / 33

The compact G26: Standard: 10  Optional: 12 / 15 / 17 / 19 / 24 / 31 / 33

Cha-Am police station chief Pol Col Woradech Suankhlai said he did not bring the gun used in the incident with him

Well, had he brought the gun with him to the station that would have been pretty damning. The fact that he didn't is just further proof of his innocence, I guess.

They granted him bail in the sum of 400,000 baht with one deputy saying they were confident that he would not interfere with witnesses

Why not? The victims are in critical condition so how are we to know if they even wanna press charges anyway.

Gave himself up, and then denied everything ??? Sherlock would even have a tough one understanding that. Is Columbo still around to offer an explanation?

Easy. He knew he was being looked for so he surrendered to the police and denied the charge.   That's everyone's right.

How on earth can you give bail to someone who has admitted shooting multiple bullets into two people. If one dies in hospital it will be a capital murder offence....why would he stay in Thailand if he is on trial for his life? If he has spent enough years collecting bribes as part of his job, he will have plenty of loot stashed away. This bail is part of the Boss System of justice.

He didn't admit it, he denied it!

Standard-size Glock magazines run from 6 to 17 rounds, depending on the specific Glock model.

Glock model 15 and later - most commonly the model 17

The Glock 17 feeds from staggered-column or double stack magazines that have a 17-round capacity (which can be extended to 19 with an optional floor plate) or optional 24 or 33-round high-capacity magazines.[69] For jurisdictions which restrict magazine capacity to 10 rounds, Glock offers single-stack, 10-round magazines.

Dirty guns would be that cheap, so a used one for crimes. New price is more towards 80-100K baht.

15 and up to 33 round magazines are available for the Glock 17 and 18 models and you can buy an after market' 15 round clip for Beretta and Sig automatic pistols so it could have been a handgun.
