What are the payment options from Thailand on AliExpress

Featured Replies

I am planning to order something from AliExpress for the first time. I would like to know can I pay in Thai baht or do I have to pay  in Dollars. Do I need to pay by credit  or debit card or can I use a bank transfer?

You can select the 'currency' preference in the web interface. If you use a Thai-based debit/credit card then likely the transaction will occur in THB, otherwise some 'conversion' will occur with their card processor or your bank.

Types of payment via Debit/Credit Card, WebMoney, WireTransfer, WesternUnion, (the last two have $20.01 or equivalent minimum).

I always use my credit card. Never had an issue, the AliExpress escrow system means the vendor does not get paid until you are happy with the goods.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

Be careful some riders are taking 3 months to arrive. Shopee is quicker if they have what you need . Aliexpress, Lazada and shopee are all owned  by Alibaba group.

Stuff I want I buy from Lazada

Stuff I would like ( as are very cheap ) but could do without ( as take a long time and sometimes don’t arrive ) I buy from AliExpress.

Purchases always go through in USD, you can set a default currency but this isn't for payment.

I buy using my Mastercard but the payment protection i.e. refund is 3 months which is too long to wait so I won't buy unless it's a more expensive item with special delivery

Wasn't there paying at delivery an option? The problem is that some items are sold by resellers who are customers of the company.

Many items are not on stock, it can be a pain in the where the sun doesn't shine to wait for a couple of months.

Pay with your debit/credit card in Thai baht.
