LOL. Living in Pattaya and complaining about the bars is like living next to Heathrow and complaining about the aeroplanes.

What stresses me too are such stupid remarks.

The complete lack of courtesy & consideration on the roads. It really winds me up!

I try to calm down, but occasionally Mrs F has to give me a slap. ????

I found the perfect solution to that. Let her drive.

Provided I am not in the same car or even province as my wife , might work.

She would need a motorcycle escort to reduce innocent casualties , or a man with a red flag walking in front of the car. ( make that a brave man or prisoner sequestered from death row )

This website and its adverts.

Doh - I see no ads. They're only for 1. People who want to allow them to make more money for TV, or 2. Noobs who haven't been online before or 3. Idiots who don't know what uBlock Origin does and can't search on duckduckgo for solutions.

TVF relies on Adverts for running costs .

I hope that you make a financial contribution to compensate in way of donations

Noise. Noise. Noise.

From the wannabe DJ every morning before 6am that nobody listens to anyway.

To the moron opposite who thinks it is ok to turn his front garden in to a metal/wood work factory. banging and cutting and grinding all day long.

Funerals, weddings, monk parties with ear splitting distorted musak for days on end.

Mobile speakers with more noise.

most of the locals are always banging some bit of wood or tin with a hammer.

They seem addicted to noise. They love it. The louder the better as far as they are concerned.

IMO they are deaf from listening to loud music/ noise all their life so they have to turn it up to hear it.

I have a list of the top ten:

#1-9= road carnage

#10= not being able to buy some western foods or ingredients here.

#11= not being able to read or speak Thai. But that's really my fault.

Because from 1993-1999 I came here always in December and January, hot and dry.I moved here in 2000 and when I noticed how shi.. the weather is for 10 months,it was to late to leave. As older I get as more uncomfortable I feel with the weather/humidity.So I guess I will move back to Europe if I can convince my wife,of course the weather is not the only reason

You do, of course, realize that the weather patterns in Thailand vary greatly depending on where you live, right?

Where I live we have 2 months of rain and 10 great months...

Yes, it's hard to fulfil any recipe that grabs your fancy here.

Add to that the price of a can of baked beans - limited choice, often substandard quality compared to what we'd buy in England for much much less. Knowledge that the reason for the hike is mostly to support a greedy government.

90k subs, 200k views per month will get ya 60k baht if the viewers don't skip the ad.

Let's get it rolling bro.

Not sure u gotta pay tax or to have work permit though.

Best regards,

David

Why anyone would care about what a stranger does on You Tube is beyond my understanding? Is it the fact that they make money that’s the issue? If they all stopped making money your stress levels would fall considerably? And your life would be blissful.

If the price of baked beans is the worst thing in your life, you are far better off than the vast majority of humanity on the planet.

Your problem is easily fixed by a one way plane ride to where baked beans are cheaper.

That would be Pattaya. I get HP baked beans at a very reasonable price at Siamsbury's.

The continuing lack of leadership of the army.

The brutality of the heat. The continuing (relative) lack of rain.

Nutjobs on the highway.

Having to choose between yum woon sen, or just yum pla mug. Or penang or massaman curry. Tough choices.

My life here is 100 times less stressful than back in the US, the new Zombieland.

The less leadership from a government the better. Governments cause more problems, IMO than they solve. Leave it up to the locals.

I loved the heat, hotter the better. When I felt like complaining about it I just remembered being cold and then I saw the light again.

Nutjobs on the highway only affect those that drive. I preferred the bus. I did drive, but only with my wife in the car, in case some idiots drove out in front of me without looking to see if anyone was coming. I was hoping she could solve the problem of the villagers dealing it to me if that happened.

Only eating one dish solves all food problems. My dish of choice was chicken fried rice, and they all understood what I was asking for when I had to ask in Thai.

Glad you understand life in LOS is so much better than back in farangland- ANY farangland.

Life in LOS is good, but some can't see it.

Have a link with some your music? I want listen.

I can enjoy Elvis.

I like all music, never feel stress listen to any music. Music is a good feeling thing in life.

Music is similar to eat fruit. I eating mangosteen now, fresh off tree today. And Longon. So good. Can enjoy eat all fruit. Not stressful. Some fruit like, some fruit like more.

Yes, real people with instruments

Here my gang farang rap favorite song.

We like to play loud 4am.

Is very old. But if you listen three times, you love it. Sure.

Play loud. You will be dancing. Sure.

Enjoy. Music is not stressful.

limp Bizkit. The lead singer is now around late 40's to 50 years old, which is around my age. and he's still bouncing around in a pair of shorts, showing off his wonderful array of tattoos and rebelling against his parents.

seriously, dude? is this what stresses you now? no word about the coronavirus situation?

Corona mania makes me angry, but it doesn't stress me. Flu doesn't stress me and I'm far more likely to get flu than corona. I'm as likely to die from flu as corona.

Stupid noise everywhere at any time for any reasons! It is just F loud no matter what it is where it is, even the school here, start in the morning with loud music, and even Im 500m away, it is still annoying. The same with the village chiefs, and we are in the middle of two villages, and as two temples, and both of them is more than 500m, we still hear them very well. Weddings, funerals, or any other parties, jeezzz,

and it goes on for days up to a week, or at least 6 days.

Why dont You move to a for You  better place?

Haha, there is no better place in Thailand, and you would know if you had been around. This is as good as it gets, in the middle of nowhere.

True that. I treasure every day here. I thank God for it. I am infinitely more fulfilled here, than I was back in the miserable US. And now? Who would want to be in Zombieland, if given a choice?

Life is what we make it.

Thanks for that photo. Reminds me of the restaurant near my wife's village, as it had a view like that. I loved eating there and watching the sun go down over the hills. About the only thing I did like about the village. I don't miss it at all.
