Airport bus back in action

Featured Replies

Good news for people who like to use the service, either to go to the airport, or from there to continue with the air rail link into Bkk.

I just seen the bus at Jomtien station, checked inside and they announced the service has started with only 3 times a day, namely 09.00-12.00-15.00

Not sure if pre booking is needed, as at 14.40 I seen only 4 people in the bus..

Maybe they are expecting business from all the people on visa extensions.....

I rode it the other day a 9 am and it was about 70 percent full.

As I just went to the Thappraya office to buy a ticket for tomorrow, It was clearly announced there that the last bus will leave at 15.00 today, and everyday will do so. Website seems to be wrong...

I did it yesterday..you are correct..9,12, and 3..we left at 12:15..I had excellent drivers both ways.  I actually wish that I had gone to the north station and then to Mor chitty..that is close to my home..and they seem to be much more frequent at more chitty, but I got to the window at 1400, and one was leaving..128 THB, and 119 if you travel from 1900-2200..return from Jomtien was 130..was a bit newer bus..both were less than half full.  Xx on the seats from Jomtien, but not More Chit..same company Rung Rueang or whatever.  There were some aggressive taxi drivers at Jomtien station..trying not to go back empty..would of been interesting to test those waters..might have offered 400, but every time I give them a chance to redeem themselves, they try one on.
