Ok, I know that is not the perfect video to select a bike. But it was in my YouTube videos and I liked it so I needed a reason to share it. ????

But in a way I think that video is interesting. Because I am sure many people think sport bikes are a lot faster on roads or tracks compared to other bikes. I.e. because sport bikes have that low point of gravity, etc.

That video shows clearly that even a motocross bike with street tires works quite well.

What was the superbike and what was the track.

Would you do 300 kph on a Supermoto, goodluck with that. ????

I wouldn't do 300km/h with anything. 250km/s in a Porsche is enough for me and on a bike I never tried anything more than 200km/h. I think that is already very fast.

The new Maxi Scooters are quick off the line, good top speed, and comfortable on a longish 2 hour ride.  I bougt an Xmax 300 and it is more than enough for here in Bangkok.  You don't need a Superbike or race bike unless you are riding the winding twisting mountainous roads or coastal roads like a bat out of hell. You especially do not need one in the city, you just can not use the features to your advantage except to speed yourself into the afterlife.

I would never every buy a maxi scooter for inner Bangkok. They are just too big to get comfortable through the cars in (standing) traffic.

I had a NC30 VFR400. I am not sure if that is still considered a supersports-bike. And I liked the old NC30 more than my new Duke. But as some stage that bike was more often with the repair guy than with me so I gave up with that.

That picture is not from my bike but it looked almost the same - REPOL look.

Yeah understand and the VFR400 is a baby superbike for sure but I fix my bikes myself, because I can.

Ride safe and ride to live.????

In theory I can do that as well, at least I did it a long time ago. But at that time I was living in a house with two garages and all the tools.

Now I live 100m up in a high floor in a condominium. That makes it somehow difficult to do more than the basics.

And the main problem with the 20 year old VFR were the spare parts. My mechanic was specialized in the VFR. But also he had problems getting parts. After waiting 4 weeks and then another 4 weeks for supposedly simple parts like water hoses I gave up with waiting.
