Outstanding numbers !! Full blown open up commercial flights and all airlines, test prior to departure, test on arrival, no ASQ, if negative practice social distancing, if cannot social distance wear a mask, wash hands, enjoy your stay,  end the hardship and get the smiles back! Dreaming I think.....

Only 59 deaths because they did a great job.  It would be orders of magnitude greater if they handled this like the US.  And the hospital system would break down.  Sad times, but we're lucky to be here and not elsewhere.

One death that we know of.  Even they admit there are more cases out there.  Especially now with migrants coming across the border illegally.

He was working at the Royal Thai Embassy in Riyadh,dealing with Thai workers ONLY.

OBVIOUSLY HE HAD BEEN in contact with many people before returning .

My thai friend called me yesterday and during the conversation announced "proudly" that, there are no cases of C19 in the KINGDOM.

"More than 90 days " she added.

Who is fooling who in there?

This is why we have immune systems to protect us.

 

We were never given any guarantee when we were born into this life, e.g. you will live till 100 if you don't die of cancer, heart attack, liver failure, dengue fever, and a 1,000 other types of diseases and viruses, when your number is up, it's up, why make the world suffer, let the cat out of the bag, worst case scenario lots of older people die, some with underlying conditions and the odd one here and there who has problems with their health but doesn't know about it, oh and then you have the fat people, well what can I say.

 

Life has to go on, or is that, the show must go on, and before you say anything, I am 60 and have underlying conditions so I would be in the "death by Covid" category as much as the influenza and pneumonia categories and other diseases and if anyone thinks a vaccine is going to protect us over this new Covid strain "flu", then are delusional.

 

I don't need to work, financially secure till I cark it, but hell, there are people out there that need to work, need to make payments to their houses and cars and feed their families, all this has done is put everybody around the world so far back for big pharma who are going to make trillions of $'s out of this and the ones behind the scene will take a slice of the cake as well, they could be the WHO, the CDC and some politicians, but let's focus, like someone said in an above post 65 died on the roads today, 59 deaths in 100 days from Covid 19, add that 90% of people that get infected have no or little symptoms, but when you keep flaunting India reported 4 million cases, people only look at the bigger numbers and not the actual deaths, which is not that much.

 

Enough said, I just don't buy the lockdowns for what they are, it's all about control, round the sheep up and get ready to brand them, forget about herd immunity there's no money in that, and if you don't think people will do things for a lot of money, think twice as there is trillions of dollars here to be made here and if you think governments are going to let go of their control, thinks twice, you might be comfortable about this, but I'm not letting some BS virus which was created in a lab blindside me.

I feel awkward; everyday many people died from many other incidents but it has never been highlighted, recorded or been big news. But the moment when someone is infected or died from COVID-19 (which I am not really sure if it is real or not), it became big news around the world.

Most people are infected but they are cured by themselves without taking any treatment, like fever or flu. I feel that something doesn’t add up here and all this pandemic drama gives benefits only to the government, not the citizens because they have to pay for all.

It seems like the government is taking advantage of this pandemic for neoliberalism and trying to transform the welfare state to the carceral stage and taking control of humans.

Just because people are ignorant and stupid in one endeavor (helmets) doesn't mean they automatically have to be ignorant and stupid in everything else... I believe in giving people credit for getting something right (masks), whenever they do.
