Erm, I think they call it campaigning, apparently there's an election very soon.

Who knew a winning strategy would be to hide in a basement, not answer any questions by a fawning media and refuse to tell the American people what your policies are.

Apart from  the orange man bad mantra, what else do the Dems have.?

Strange comment, since the Democrats have the policies very clearly on their website. As for the Republicans???

But yes, this is a fox talking point.

The Republican recruiters are already in serious talks with the highly favoured candidate for their new leader after Trump gets the flick.

Yes they all agree that Ronald McDonald has more flair and superior political skills .

You do know that the pandemic is still killing loads and millions more are unemployed than when he started?

What is your plan? Do you want to shut down the Economy and perhaps save a few lives, and increase unemployment?  Or do you want to open up employment, and perhaps increase the spread? Do tell.

More false and misleading statements I'm afraid. This poll is not telling me the last 4 years have been a dud for Trump.

"More American voters believe they are better off after four years under President Donald Trump than they did at the end of the first terms of former presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush, new polling data has revealed.

The latest survey from Gallup found that a clear majority of registered voters (56 percent) believed they were better off now compared to four years ago."

There are key differences. Obama poll was taken more than a year before re-election while Trump poll was less than 60 days before his re-election. Partisanship clearly affects the perceptions of the direction of the country. This shown in chart below.

While Americans' week-by-week perceptions of the country naturally fluctuate, there has been a steady increase in pessimism among Republicans and Independents. The issue President Trump faces is not increased partisanship, but rather, increased agreement from all Americans that the nation is headed in the wrong direction. The latest Economist/YouGov Poll indicates that two-thirds (66%) of the country now believes the United States is on the wrong track.

Trump's evening rally at an airport

His dance moves on stage were the sort that embarrassing uncles do at wedding receptions after too many toasts to the couple before other family members bundle him into a taxi home .. and the bit about going in to the crowd to kiss all the girls and boys was just pure bizarre ..

You think he's on drugs?

Well, he said he wasn't taking medication at present, even though no one asked him about it.  And he did not have a series of mini-strokes, should anybody mention such.  I guess he's so accustomed to talking to stupid people he's unaware of how obvious he is.

Hillary and her supporters also thought she would win, based on the polls.

She did win--by nearly 3 million votes.  Trump was saved by the archaic Electoral College.

Seems to me 2016 was more about Clinton losing than Trump winning. This time round it's about Trump losing rather than Biden winning. It boggles the mind that a piece of work like Trump is polling in the mid 40's%. Nearly 1/2 of likely voters. Doesn't say much for that electorate. Looking back there are a couple positives about Trump's single term in office. He didn't start any wars, unusual for an American president, plus he keep Clinton out of the Oval Office.

The news feed I seen it on reported no social distancing with very few if any masks worn .. they quoted Dr Fauci as saying that was asking for trouble ..

Trump is showing blatant utter contemptuous disregard for a man he was only to willing to rope over the weekend into his tardy campaign with the wholly misleading quote that portrays Dr F as supportive of his efforts ..

The polls {comprised of over sampled democrats} sure have Joe running away with it, but I'd add that he is having a bad time now with the investigation by the Ukraine government, especially since they have all the documents the DOJ needs to put him and Hunter away, along with a few other high profile names.

BTW: where is Hunter?

And, why are the Clinton's, Obama and even the Biden family not on the campaign trail? They are so silent and nowhere to be found. It just seems very odd that Joe is out on his own which has never been seen in modern times in a presidential race. Just Asking.

Maybe they are too busy now looking for real estate in countries with no extradition with the united states. Weird and wonderful 2020 election for sure.

It's because there are about 30% more registered Democrats than Republicans.

Cherry picking polls much?

Donald is just getting slaughtered in the betting averages now. It seems to be Biden's election to lose. Biden got a clear bump after the first debate and then again after Donald claimed being infected with COVID-19.

Maybe Donald should have worn that Superman T-shirt under and ripped his button-down shirt to expose it after being let out of the hospital. It would be nice to see yet another bump for Biden!

Betting Odds U.S. President 2020
