Do you need a covid negative test prior to flying with EVA or others to the Uk.

If you tested locally at the assigned government hospital in your own region and were positive are you automatically admitted and treated at their own covid unit or allowed to self quarantine at your own home?

A sanity test would be more appropriate right now if wanting to go to the UK. Why would anyone want to go back to the dark and cold of the British winter and the misery of further Covid-19 lockdowns? Of course, understood if there's a compelling reason such as family emergency etc.

In answer to your question; there are currently no covid tests required to board flights from Bangkok to London and no quarantine needed on arrival.

Maybe someone knows the answer to the above question?

Thanks

Pre-Flight Covid-19 tests are dependant on the Airline and destination (or transiting) country - each situation is individual, its best to confirm with the Airline.

My ‘assumption’ is that if someone tests positive at (any) hospital in Thailand, they will be admitted and isolated, and treated if necessary - I suspect at least until a Covid-19 negative test is secured (Note: this is just an assumption - there have been so few such cases - its an unknown)
