This was on the news yesterday.
Banana trees cushioned the impact and the driver was good enough to keep a straight line so it didn’t flip or roll.
Well done.

After you've achieved projectile motion, alleged driving skills don't count for much.

  • i should open a brake repair shop here. the business would be non stop.

  • I've said it before and I'll say it again. Failing to apply the brakes does not constitute brake failure.

Au contraire !!!.... it seems no one is interested in servicing or repairing their brakes !!!     ....clearly, business would collapse  !!!!!

Will they ever learn...use your gears to slow you down when descending steep incline ...no

Gears? What are they, cars have go and stop, why would you want gears.

Brake failure here just means oily flip flops slipped of the pedal.

They shouldn't fit brakes to cars here . They just give drivers a false sense of security.  An anchor and chain thrown out the window would be just as much use.

They'd cut it off and sell it for scrap value.

Then you go out of business, because no one cares about breaks here. A useless thing. ????

au contraire mon ami...

Thais value "breaks" highly, most important event of the day

however "brakes" are less highly valued although they may save your life..

I remember many years ago the first car I bought in Thailand I went to the main Toyota dealer in Phuket for a service, The guy asked whats the problem there is no problem I need to service as per the manual I gave him the manual from out of the car, he actually said to me Thai people only bring their car when have ploblem, Now Im worried are they going to service my car properly or just rip me off,

Wrong. Your business would fail because nobody here gives a hoot about vehicle maintenance of any sort short of filling the gas tank. Oil changes are irrelevant.
