Sukumvit and 363 open again

Featured Replies

Hey drove east into Rayong yesterday. Seems the big dig at Hwy 3 and Hwy 363 is now open and the major construction is finished. Looks very nice now and easy to get in to Rayong as that horrible intersection is now gone. Also the highway from 36 into Maptaphut is a straight shot now with no stopping for that lousy intersection.

Good news, thanks for the update. ????

Getting into Rayong took twice as long as Pattaya, until now.

Excellent news for me as well as far as getting to the immigration office at Maptaput from my part of the world (Amphur Klaeng) via Highway 3 and Rayong City Centre is concerned. But is it still fun and games with all the roadworks on Highway 36 itself (normally my preferred route), though?

@flexomike -  excellent news for you as well.

Pretty impressive. The Google earth imagery dated late August shows the mess that now seems to have mostly disappeared.
