The expire date on my visa is april ( 2007 ) I have a new one ready at home for me , but do not want to be sent ( EMS ) as I will fly back in two months .

Question , to try to use it in ATM will be impossible , but if I topup with cash ( 50000 baht ) and go to bank counter will I be ok to withdraw ? said 50000 baht or lost of time ?

I suspect that if you go to the bank they will inspect the card and see that it is past its expiry date and they will not give you the cash. The last time I went to get cash using my card and passport they swiped it and it was OK.

For about £30 (the bank charge) you can get your card DHL from the UK and in Thailand it then goes EMS post and it only takes a few days and it is safe. DHL rate may be less.

I have had 3 cards sent by my bank this way and it works.
