i could not find any topic here

my friend (swiss) will fly soon to switzerland with swiss airlines!

the travel office, where he booked the ticket told him, he will need

a) a fitforfly attest

b) a covid-19 test

otherwise he cannot fly out of bangkok - he cannot even fly on domestic flights without this tests!

true or not - could not find anything online!

thanks for any helpfull advise!

There is no regulation from the Thai side. The things mentioned are required only for entering the country, not leaving.

He needs to check entry requirements for Switzerland (if any) and also requirements (if any) of Swiss Airtllines.

That at least is complete utter nonsense. So the source does not earn much reputation.

Or completely lost in translation?

Swiss citizens can enter Switzerland (via airport) at ANY time.

Depending on the originating country he might have to undergo quarantine.

What native language is your friend (German, French, Italian?).

There is plenty of information on the net.

Otherwise I would really suggest contacting Swiss airlines and the Swiss embassy (website) as first sources.

this is not the problem, the problem is actually that the girl / woman at the travel agency gave him all this "s - h - i - t -" information and he feels a bit unsafe ...! the booking is done - he has the ticket!

To the best of our knowledge, SWISS Airlines does not require such tests and certificates for Swiss citizens to fly. No further preparations need to be made to enter Switzerland.
