Hi All,

 

I'm suppose to pick up 1 year visa extension based on marriage on December 9th at CW, just before long weekend start.

It's a bit inconvenient for me to go there on this particular day. 

 

Would it be a problem, if I show up there a day before or few days later ?

You could go today or tomorrow to get it if approved. If you don't do it by Wednesday it would be next week before you could do i.

So, its not an explicit obligation to be there on a day stamped in the passport. Thanks, Joe

going early won't help (might not be finished) but going a few days after won't hurt you. also, your wife can pick up the stamp. you don't have to go.

There is never such a thing as a "Quick question" If there is then, when is it a Long Question?

 

I can tell you any Immigration, USA, Canadian German etc  are  not there for our convenience So best play by the rules
