Will heading in to Phuket Sunday afternoon and I would appreciate if someone know if there are any updates or extra regulations except temperature check when coming in to Phuket now after latest covid -19 infections on the Island.

Spoke to a Thai friend that arrived yesterday afternoon from Koh Samui with his wife. Apparently they had to get out of the car for a temperature check and then had to walk through a disinfectant spray "curtain" and then they were good to continue their trip....;-) 

I came in yesterday after one day outside Phuket. My car has a Bangkok plate so we were stopped for a temperature check. Most cars waved through. Nothing to be concee=rned about.

Thanks, that did not sound so daunting, more daunting if there is a long queue of cars waiting for the passage.....lets hope it not get worse with infected people so the authorities on short notice again close down the Island.

Came through this afternoon. Most everyone had to get out of their cars to do a temp check and clean hands. Very few cars let pass without it. 

Hi I go through every day at the moment. These check started Saturday. There are two lanes into the checkpoint. Until today almost all the right hand lane has to get out and do as mentioned above. Since Saturday I have been staying in the left lane, and until this afternoon was just waved through in that lane. This afternoon they were checking temp of the left lane cars with a little hand held device as they do going into the shops and malls.
