PTT and Bangchak premium is desired for euro 5 emissions vehicles. Last time I checked, anyway.

I use PTT premium in my crv. I occasionally use b7 but only If I cant get premium. Fuel economy is lowet on B7. Not greatly so, but noticeable. I rather not have my dpf clog up or otherwise have problems.

You mean Shell V-Power is of lesser quality?

They likely just meant what they said, which was nothing of the sort.

They could well believe that, but that’s not what they said.

No. Shell v-power has some cleaning agents that their regular diesel does not have.

Most pickup trucks / PPV's can run on the standard (euro 4) diesel. However it seems they will be phased out over the next few years. Only low sulphur diesel will be available then as it produces lower emissions.

From bangkokpost early 2019 below. I don't know if there have been an upgrade of the shell premium since that article.

I think it would be fine in most vehicles, but some cars require euro 5 diesel spec - like the diesels of bmw and benz.
