Next week a friend of mine( Thai) ask me if can drive him to visit his brother in this prison. Can drive there normally or some restricion due to the pandemic? Thank you.

IN my experience you can drive there but you will likely have problems driving back as Bangkok is a restricted zone. We got stuck with 14 days quarantine after returning.

Most of them just state 'travel is discouraged' not banned.

 

There's numerous reports on this forum and others of people traveling all over thailand and seeing minimal checkpoints let alone being stopped and questioned.

Buriram province. We informed ourselves about regulations before we went, you should too. 

We're on the 4th day of a 14 day quarantine, neighbours and village admin will be keeping an eye on us.

 If you re enter covid free Phangnga province,  from a province with infections and have no symptoms you must quarantine for 5 days. If you re enter from a red zone you must quarantine for 14 days. 
 

it is up to the poo Yai baans to enforce it.

Please note all, There is a big difference in quarantine and self isolation.

There is a big difference between self isolation at home, where they will come and check you daily, normally a health volunteer, and Quarantine.
