Hi all,

First of all, I would like to thanks all the posters here, you've been so useful to prepare my trip here.

I arrived in Bangkok on 8th January with a Visa exemption, I got stamped for 45 days and left quarantine on 23rd January.

Since then, I'm staying in my own condo, I have 2 questions:

- Do I need to report to any authority that I'm staying in my own place? If yes, how to?

- If the authorities extend the permission of  extension of stay after 31st January, will I be able to ask for a 2 months extension instead of only one month? If yes, what documents do I need to support my demand.

Thanks a lot for your reply!

Have you reported your address to immigration before?

You may need to do a TM30 report to immigration to report your arrival at you own condo.

It is unknown at this time if the 60 day covid 19 extension are going to available after tomorrow.

You can apply for 30 day extension of your 45 day entry and then if available the 60 day extension.

Interested in what are the fall back plans. Do you have option such as apply for a visa non o based on retirement etc or need hope that the 60 day covid extensions will continue.

The 30 day extension to visa exempt is available however only one of those is available.

Thanks ubonjoe, if the 60 days extension is available, do I need any document to support my demand? I thought that the 60 days extension is granted only if you come to visit relatives

It is a special extension due to covid 19. I just learned it was extended yesterday to March 30th.
