Maejo University in Chiang Mai became the latest organisation jumping on the ganja bandwagon after some restrictions on the plant were eased.

Yesterday the uni's chancellor Dr Weeraphon Thongma presided over the opening of a project providing information about the commercial growing of marijuana.

Star of the show were some food items for the participants: there was a ganja omelette decorated with a leaf, crispy fried ganja leaves (that looked to have been done in batter) and a tea called "Cha-Gan".

Of course none of the products contain any of the drug that people who traditionally smoke or use other ganja products crave to make them high.

It's all part of the show.

The flowers and buds as well as the seeds remain illegal though other parts of the plant have been removed from the narcotics list, notes Thaivisa.

they are trying to spin this in such a way that they will turn it into money

probably zero nutritional value but spin works in Thailand - people generally believe what they are being told - westerners don't which is why their spin machine doesn't work on TVF - we have been accustomed to question everything

Marijuana leaves are considered one of our superfoods. They are packed full of nutrients. Maybe you can look it up for yourself before calling others stupid.

I'd recommend juicing the leaves and stems.

It's supposed to be quite nutritious, kinda like wheat grass juice.

Do you know how much people will pay for a shot of "grass" in America?

It's a gold mine. ????
