Why on earth make a fuss about some harmless weed when they've found a plastic bag full of ketamine

Because some people assume that recreational use of weed is legal in Thailand!   This is a reminder that it isn't.  Most people know Ketamine use is illegal.

Oh you idiots LMAO ???? this bust was about ketamine and other narcotics not just weed ???? it’s been totally decriminalized and legal for medical use. I even bought a bong yesterday in the open in broad daylight with cannabis leaves painted on it here in Thailand. They removed cannabis from the narcotics list a while ago ????

its legal in America in 10 states now, and Biden will decriminalize it on the Federal level soon.

I sort of understand cracking down on hard drugs. Sort of. I actually think society would be better served if ALL drugs were legal. But, that is a complicated debate. In terms of any arrest for ganga, it is completely overzealous, and pointless. All possession of pot should be legal.

Quite agree. Even though I don't partake, mainly because I don't smoke anything, I have known many people who do/did see it as less harmless than alcohol - which I do like!

I actually do like the smell though, which I hate with regular tobacco, and on one occasion went to a concert where my mate and I were possibly the only people not using. I felt no pain by about halfway through the gig! ✌️

Yeah hopefully it’s actually already more legal than that in the states even. I think it’s funny when they post drug bust articles where other drugs are seized like ketamine with weed and then they try to make it sound like it was all about the weed ????. If it had been just a weed party only they would have been ok more than likely.

Maybe not in Thailand?  Probably would which particular police officers were involved, wouldn't you say? ????

I’d rather have them smoke some weed ( which the smell goes AWAY) Than cigarettes which doesn’t go away.

Nonsense. I'm stuck in Blackpool, UK. I can assure you that the stink of weed on people carries with them in all the shops they go into, I hate to think what their houses stink like if it stays on their clothes the same way

It is NOT the gateway drug some extremely ignorant authorities claim it is. It is relatively innocent, though increasingly powerful (not sure about here, since I am not familiar with the use of state of the art hydroponics here, like in the US). I used to enjoy it occasionally, until I didn't anymore. Have alot of friends and family who still do. Other than the lack of ambition it seems to instill in some smokers, I consider it way less harmful than alcohol. It should be completely legal, however the arrests seem to remain a lucrative franchise.

I agree...as for gateway drugs, I see that  in many cases, that's just an excuse for addictive personalities to use.

Is beer a gateway drink to whiskey? No but if you are addictive, you may start with beer and move on to whiskey - kind of shooting the messenger, IMO.

I like the "lack of ambition" quote ......that's called "chillin''  Like I said earlier, I don't smoke.....never mentioned cooking, did I? ????

ketamine, I wish I could use once in my life ...

you know it is an InSTANT anti depressant after injection that lasts for about a week ...

also great for PTSD

I would think a lot of thought needs to be given to that ambition. Look at https://www.talktofrank.com/drug/ketamine#the-risks

I don't see it as on a par with weed - the thought of it would terrify me.... as they say....YMMV ????

You are correct, a friend worked at a international airport in the sttes. One of the ticket agents smelled pot on a passenger checking in she red flagged him a nice big stash in his luggage, busted

Weed and K oh my god no wonder the pool table looks like that. Most of thought it was a beautiful American style coffin or a bed on a soap opera  or a park in Amsterdam

Previously police would hardly respond to complaints about loud music and parties. Following the crack down on casinos they are now applying themselves with some zeal.

Those who have complained on TV in the past about illegal casinos and regular loud parties, now is your chance (if someone hasn't already beaten you).
