PHUKET: Phuket City Police went on the hunt on Sunday night and raided three bars in the heart of Phuket Town in response to a complaint by Petchaburi Provincial Police chief about nightlife venues in Phuket Town trading illegally past their mandated closings times and disturbing the peace with loud music until 4:30am.

Maj Gen Uthai Kawindechathorn, Chief of the Phetchaburi Provincial Police, posted a video on his personal Facebook page on Sunday (Feb 21), with a long post calling for police in Phuket to step up their efforts to prevent such public disturbances.

The video posted proved loud music coming from a bar along Soi Limsui Zhu, on the south side of town.

Where can I find his mobile number?

If I need to make a complaint about something illegal, I could just politely ask him to sort it by making one phone call.

Reading reports from other members seems that calling the official complaint line is usually met by inaction.

I first saw this on Thai tele, from the outside this is funny this guy is not just any old plod the story was he had tried to ignore it, so at 4-30 am in his shorts and t-shirt jumps on a kids bike and politely asked them to turn off the music, somebody in the bar has told him <deleted> off old man, and stood there and made the video a good job they didn't come out of the bar and give him a good kicking, apparently he didn't even say who he was he went back home and called the chief of police in Phuket,

I would have loved to see their faces when they found out he really was 555

The time to abandon ship in Phuket was last year.

It's time to cancel any and all leases and withdraw from the province.

Stupid funbusters with no life.
