Vaccine arrival on Samui, soon?

Government announced that a chunk of the just arrived vaccines is headed to Samui.  Anyone know much about when and where?

Do not hold your breath.

Only 2,500 doses for Suratthani Province.

Joe Soap and General Public will not probably be until the latter part of this year (if we are lucky).

The numbers do not quite make sense.

625 medical/government staff

275 hotel workers/airport staff/ferries/taxis/minibuses/quarantine hotels

325 health volunteers/general public

25 Covid inspectors

They match, they add up to 1250 which is the first of two injections. The other 1250 out of 2500 are saved for the 2nd injection.

Sorry, I did not explain myself very well.

I would expect there to be a lot more than 275 hotel workers etc etc.

Not many of the general public are going to be vaccinated.

I think that they do not have a clue and just print numbers so that it looks like they know what they are doing.

Hotel workers in quarantine hotels, that's what it says "...and hotel quarantine workers"...????

A friend working in a 5* hotel here on the northern beaches has said that their hotel is on the quota list!

They are to receive enough vaccine for one person (two doses).
