Skin on leg looks like it's peeling after sunburn

Featured Replies

Skin on left leg has red, roughish splotches and now some very small reddish nodules on top of my foot. The condition is only below my knee.

My right leg has a bit of the same thing but much less.

It does not hurt at all and is only occasionally mildly itchy.

My theory is an allergic reaction to a recently bought duvet made of synthetic material. It was my mistake, thinking, without looking, it was cotton, which is the only material I buy. The reaction started happening some 10 days or so after using the duvet -- which I washed before using. Also, the duvet was only ever in contact with my leg. But, as I said, it's only a theory.

Sheryl, you have recommended Dr. Parichart at St. Louis in the past. I assume Dermatology is the right direction. Thanks.

@Sheryl is away for a few days. I have tagged this post so that she will be able to reply to you on her return.
