Does anyone know if possible to buy vines for growing grapes here in Phuket. Interested in decorative plant for shade (although fruits would be enjoyable)

Grape vines are right on the edge of the temperature required to grow them. Google says 25C to 32C. As you want it for shade, I presume that they will be in full sun.

As a very amateur gardener here in Phuket, one lesson that took me ages to learn, lots of dead plants and quite a bit of money, is that you should choose plants that are common in Phuket.

If you want a climber for shade that is virtually impossible to kill, then I would go for the Taro vine. Very common and very cheap.
