How To Copy&paste A Scanned Document>

I would like to know if there is a way to copy and paste a scanned document.

in fact :

- if I scan a document

- then I park it on “my documents”

- then I left click on the whole of it with my mouse to “turn it black” with the

intention to then right click on it to copy it and then, in a second moment, to

past it into another place

the scanned document does not turn black so that I cannot copy and paste it

I am just a beginner with the computer

Don't left click (there is no need)

Simply right-clicking on the document should bring up the copy / paste etc. menu, select 'copy' and you're in business.

If it doesn't we need to know more detail, scanner software, file format of the saved scan, anything else you think useful
