and he will expect his followers to pay for it. And they will, too.

The right-wing whacko sites are usually behind a pay wall.  IMO this betrays their motivation: the purpose is not to inform the masses and spread truth (sic) but to make $$$ for themselves.  This practice precedes the T___p ascendancy.  Even Sarah Palin tried it back when and failed.  And now that we see he views his faithful followers as cash cows, he's going to continue the squeeze for every nickel: the more $$$ you give the greater America will be!

The software developers he needs will have to be true believers or bad at business, as we all know he's not good at paying his bills, and he will probably not stand for cash up front.  Might be some funny stories to come about developers shutting down his platform with backdoors etc.

If so, they've got company in that toilet:

February Ratings: MSNBC Tops In Total Day Viewers, CNN Wins Key Demo, Fox News Takes Primetime

The other news networks also were touting their numbers: CNN beat other networks in the 25-54 demographic in the total day timeframe as well as primetime.

Fox News, meanwhile, returned to the top in primetime among total viewers, after CNN led in January. Still, in February, CNN’s numbers were up 61% in primetime versus a year earlier, while MSNBC increased 23% and Fox News was down 30%.

It's true that there has been a general decline in cable news ratings. But is this a bad thing? Keep in mind that ancient Chinese curse: May you live in interesting times.

Probably the majority of people that join his thing will just be there to gawk at him, not as a show of support. You know, in the way people always stare at a car crash.

More like the bearded lady in the circus.

The diminshed MyPillow money will only go so far. Corporates and international companies won't touch him with a bargepole and that means devotees will have to stump up hard earned cash or it will be doomed to failure. Social media it won't be. Another money losing scam doomed to failure thank the lord.

Misinformation may be down in one direction, but check out the ratings.  CNN's are in the toilet.

I'm not surprised. I sometimes check them out and boring doesn't come close to describing it. They still spend a vast amount of time on corona/ vaccine, which IMO means they haven't got anything better to talk about. Almost nothing I've seen about the southern border, which IMO is a huge story. They didn't even show a Biden address while Fox was showing it in full.

When RT is more interesting than CNN, one has to wonder why.

The border is now all over CNN.  Well, maybe the Colorado shootings now.  I doubt they skipped the Biden address.  But they did skip many of Trumps! LOL

RT is impossible to watch.  Worse than Fox. LOL

Yeah.  I use to like CNN.  Not now.  Fox went off the rails during the Trump reign of terror.

Now, mainly online sites.  Nothing live.  Sadly.

Media does fine without Trump.  Actually, much better.  Misinformation was down 75% after they banned him from Twitter.

Twitter is not media per se. And yes, mainstream media is hurting big time post 45.

I did say in a post some time ago that Trump would return on some other media.

Trump isn't going away, no matter what some desire.

He doesn't have much time left... better get his big butt in gear...

Only very small minds need to be entertained by news. Most of us can actually apply critical thinking.

Speaking of trump. He is still saying he won. I wonder if his new platform will be still spreading the lie.

it seems when it comes to actually saying that in court even his lawyer has disowned the claim.

No reasonable person would believe her, she claims in court docs. Oh dear, hahahaha.

oh donald, please on your new platform you will post the truth.

Alex Jones on infowars has been in Florida the last couple of weeks, "having high level secret meetings with very important people" and is going to make an announcement soon.

If all the other banned right wing conspiracy nut jobs join Trump on a new platform, It could be very entertaining.

Jones is a horrible individual.  He should be taken off the internet.  For good.

Sidney Powell argues in new court filing that no reasonable people would believe her election fraud claims

Yes, the Tucker Carlson defense!  This just goes to prove--yet again--that most Trump supporters are not reasonable people.  Too bad her defense is written in legal-speak.  They should just come out and say "You would have to be a flaming idiot to believe a word of what Sidney Powell says!"

I'd be embarrassed to say I listen to Fox.  Stunning.  I guess these people aren't reasonable?  Same with whoever would pay attention to Trump's new media outlet. Sad some like this junk.

The "'general tenor' of the show should then inform a viewer that [Carlson] is not 'stating actual facts' about the topics he discusses and is instead engaging in 'exaggeration' and 'non-literal commentary.' "

She wrote: "Fox persuasively argues, that given Mr. Carlson's reputation, any reasonable viewer 'arrive[s] with an appropriate amount of skepticism' about the statement he makes."
