Look at the link address in the screenshot he posted. It is this site: https://bangkokimmigration.com/

That is not for online reporting.

But I just went on that site without a problem.

Didn't notice that it was the Bangkok specific site, he just said the immigration website was down, which the non Bangkok site is, unless that's changed in the last hour or so

Yes, it is the link from their Google My Business page listing, sorry I should of been clearer. They fixed the primary domain within 15 minutes it seems.

Trust that it's now possible for you to travel to an immigration office (with at least 2 x crisp 1,000 THB notes in your wallet) since that's something you're now going to have to do regardless before you can hit the snail mail trail for future reports!

Maybe OT, but where do I do my annual extension of Non-O (retirement)? Last year it was the Govt Centre. Still the same building or has it changed to Muang Thong Thani? The Imm site doesn't explain.

TIA

You will do it at Chaeng Wattana. You can make an appointment now for the application.

For extensions based on retirement it is now possible to make an appointment. Works a treat. If you allow time you can do your banking requirements (bank letter etc) lower level then go to your appointment.

Cheers, I'll make the appointment.

Just a heads up. When you make appointment you receive a confirmation email. You need to make hard copy. There is print stall same level as the banks. They can provide you with print out. You forward your confirmation email to them and they print.

Things may have changed but do not go to the main queue desk/doc check.

Your appointment desk most likely L 32. Walk straight to that desk. Be 15 minutes early. Often you will be seen 10mins or so before your appointment. Don't wait to be called. When io is not busy approach with your print out of appointment.

For extensions retirement pretty much the first thing they want to see is your banking docs along with pp

Also after making the on-line appointment if it does not show up in your e-mail check your Junk or Spam folder.  That's where mine usually ends up.

Silly question but I'll ask anyway. Posting mine soon, did you use A4 envelope or just fold all the pages, 9 in total.

When I was doing them by mail I used a envelope that only required folding the copies in half. Plus a standard sized envelope for the return envelope.

I also reduced the number of copies by putting more than one copy on a sheet and they were always accepted.
