I always thought CNN was pure propaganda garbage, but they have outdone themselves on this one.

Promoting ketchup as one of the best "meal" in the world, they make members of the Thai government  look almost credible and capable compared to this sheer stupidity...

Mexican choc for a meal?????????

Aka mole sauce. I've had this, only at proper Mexican restaurants, with turkey, chicken, stewed dishes and enchiladas. Never seen it with fish. Actually pretty nice.

Massaman curry is not prevalent in Thailand so how can it be number one? It is only cooked in specialty shops.

Is the BTS office canteen "speciality"? Had a very passable massaman there yesterday.

Madam does a wonderfully delicious one which my brother still calles "mamasan curry", can't imagine why ????

Massaman is originally a Muslim dish and we know most Thai are Buddhists. I won't call it a 'Thai dish'.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massaman_curry

The name massaman is a corruption of the term mosalman, an archaic word derived from Persian, meaning "Muslim".

Those who sell Massaman curry are usually Muslim Thais who is a minority.
