Just went into my local amphur and was told they’re only doing new birth  and deceased certificates. I planned to go to CW next week. Am I in trouble without a new one?

Are you sure they understood you only wanted a printout of it.

So true and very relevent. Wherever possible let a Thai deal with a Thai it usually ends much better.

My wife and I went to Suan Luang. She called the “Wattana” district office and was told it probably means they are having “covid related issues. 
 

We will try another location on Tuesday. 

Did you ask how much? that usually gets a result

We had that last year. Immigration said we had to have a new one as it was 18 months old, just pop down to the Ampur in Sri Ratcha, wouldn't take long. There was about a hundred people sat outside at around 11am, they said unlikely we would be seen that day.

We drove along to Chonburi and even with the lunch break we were back at immigration for around 2pm.

Try Prawet Khet, they understand the need and in the past provided it to me without the wife (English is a problem though.)

My wife and I got our KorRor2 in Amphur, Bangkok last week.
First, the guard at the entrance checked my temperature and asked me what my purpose was.
After that, you can enter the building and get your KorRor2 in about 10 minutes.
It was very easy.
