Compass in Rear View Mirror Installation

I like a compass in a car, and cars I've had in the States had a compass in the rear view mirror. I looked at a Mazda in Pattaya recently, and it has no such compass and the car has no navigation. The dealer has no clue what I am talking about.

 

Does anybody know if there is an independent installer of such a mirror?

In head units which support Android Auto, just add an app.

Never heard of it or seen it.

 

I would suggest simply install a cradle for your phone and have what you want on it FREE !

I've had rental cars with that in the US.  When I was 11 I also had shoes with a compass in the heel.  Equally useful.

Never seen the like in Thailand, online or otherwise. I was going to suggest ordering one from Walmart and using shipitto or similar to send over here but it's out of stock already. Still available on amazon though but at 150 bucks + shipping, a bit spendy. Easier and cheaper to get a small, golf ball style compass and stick that on the dashboard somewhere.
