It has nothing to do with immigration. It is the embassies that want the $100,000 covid 19 insurance to get a certificate of entry.

AXA Sawasdee, I paid 7500 baht for 3 months, covers also asymptomatic cases.

You can buy it online, don't need any brokers.

That is for people already in Thailand.

He is asking about the mandatory $100K US COVID policy required to enter the country.

Take a look at Luma Insurance. It was recommended to me by AA Insurance brokers and includes coverage if you test positive in ASQ and are required to go to the hospital even though you're asymptomatic. The cost for 60 days is 5,300 Baht.

Sorry. I am looking for the one for COE.

Fly with Emirates (there may be others) and they'll throw in the insurance free.

I used AXA, don't know if it's any good as I didn't use it but prompt replies and no problems at immigration.

It can be found on most embassy and consulate websites.

I understand the minimum $100,000 USD coverage requirement, but the requirements re: the length or period of coverage aren't clear. That is, do I need to purchase a three month policy or six months or...?

The covid 19 insurance must be valid for the length of the permit to stay you will get when entering the country.

You would have to have the $100,000 covid 19 insurance valid to the day your extension of stay ends to enter the country.
