Popular Post Pilotman Posted May 22, 2021 Popular Post Posted May 22, 2021 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-57210938 The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has urged people to refrain from kissing live poultry amid an outbreak of salmonella. The CDC and public health officials are investigating salmonella outbreaks after 163 people were reported ill in 43 states. The infections have been linked to contact with backyard poultry. Come on you US folk, explain this to we uninformed. What is this all about? Who goes around kissing chickens? Is they a rush of chicken abuse in the US? What about ducks and turkeys, or is it just the pretty chickens that get monstered? 1 6

I never saw that particular notice, but most merchandise sold in the US comes with a notice to the effect of it being against the law to use the item other than as directed. Why? Because people do stupid things, and then when they are injured they try to sue the manufacturer; with this warning they are telling the idiots that if they try bring suit against them they will be charged with breaking the law. Case in point: https://www.quora.com/Emergency-Medicine-How-do-you-remove-light-bulbs-from-the-rectum A few years ago this trend started of people having pet chickens with fancy pedigrees. Some of the stories are pretty funny, e.g. I had a neighbor who complained that she is not permitted to put her chicken on a leash and walk it like a dog. I imagine she kissed her chicken (that verb phrase is sometimes used to refer to a certain adults only activity). On the other hand, dogs will eat doo-doo, but their loving owners allow the animal to lick their faces, lips etc. Go figure. 2 1

I had a hard time understanding him as he spoke Isaan/Lao dialect and chewed betel nut. He did show me how to put a chicken to sleep. He also showed me a dog who would pick up scraps of coconut we had eaten and put it on the compost heap in the banana grove, on command. Best time was when l climbed up a tall coconut tree and twisted off a young one, and was immediately covered by black ants. Old man had a long bamboo pole with a hook and neatly snagged a few others. I was good for a lot of laughs. 1

Saltire Posted May 23, 2021 Posted May 23, 2021 Nothing unusual in my soi. My neighbour frequently kisses his cocks especially when they win a fight.. He gets well pi$$ed if they lose though, no joop joop then!

(That said, Stacy Brown's got two.) I'm also reminded of the BBC TV sporting commentator Harry Carpenter who, after the Oxford v. Cambridge boat race in 1977 said: "Ah, isn't that nice, the wife of the Cambridge president is kissing the cox of the Oxford crew." 2
