Thai Rath reported that a worker from the south of Thailand infected with Covid-19 at a field hospital within the factory at Quality Pineapple Products made a dash for home.

But Hageemin, 27, from Narathiwat didn't get very far on a stolen Honda Wave.

He vaulted a wall and managed to sneak past guards but was thwarted in an attempt to get to his rented home in Nong Plap, Hua Hin, when he got a puncture.

He was found opposite the Nong Sor school.

The ambulance came for him and he was persuaded to go quietly back to the factory and the field hospital on Saturday.
