She has a good job as a medical receptionist in bkk and was a lot of fun. Thought about hooking up with her again when I eventually get back. she has been flirting lots and seems very keen. bit worried though because I saw her Instagram account and now she seems to be living a flash lifestyle with holidays in Thai beach resorts, couple of big tattoos, and pics of her smoking expensive cigars. Her Instagram account has a lot of posts about her being lonely and no pics of any guys She sent me one pic with a big gold ring on her left hand on the western wedding ring finger. noticed the same pic on Instagram is cropped without her hands. ( in days past western women were the property of men- father, then husband ), and certain customs persist despite the reality changing eg the father of the bride "gives away" his daughter, as in transferring the property to her new husband. IMO, it may or may not mean anything. Only she can answer your question. If I had to guess, I'd say that she is in a relationship with a rich man, and she may or may not be married, but he's not around at the moment. Between my visits she obviously went with other guys ( I wasn't paying her to stay out of the bar, like some do ). Eventually she left the bar and went home to go to uni, but I continued seeing her on holiday. The last time I met her she was obviously involved with some rich guy, but still going to go with me to the beach. However, when she refused to go to the beach I had chosen she had to admit she would have been seen by friends of her husband! In reality there were a lot of Thai traveling around the country going on holidays because the hotels and resorts and even airfares where cut by a tremendous amount, and then add in there was also the Thai government program that had a pay 50% we pay 50% in which the Thai people took big advantage of. So it was very easy for them to travel and look like living high on the hog when they actually only have a mediocre income. Expensive cigars? How could you tell? If you want to know the real deal then just ask her and see what reply she gives. But don't accuse as this will more than likely sour things tremendously. Many think if they can get away with they will do it. I reckon she is probably married to a fat, old rich farang who she isn't attracted to and who can't please her sexually.
